Find answers to common questions about K-Academia.
From the My Classes page, click "Create Class" and fill in the title, description, and start/end dates (you can also add a cover image and meeting link). Once created, the class card shows its invite code — that code is what your students use to join.
Share your class's 6-character invite code (shown on the class card), or a link like k-academia/join?code=ABC123. Students open My Classes, use "Join a class", enter the code and confirm. From the class's Students list you can issue a new code, stop new joins, and remove students — a removed student can't rejoin until you allow them back.
The AI Tutor answers questions from your class's own PDFs and cites the page it used. Pick a class, then ask. Your conversations are saved per class so you can come back to them. Teachers can turn the tutor off for a class in its settings. AI answers can be wrong — check with your teacher when it matters.
Either open the Quizzes page and click "Create Quiz" (you'll pick the class, unit, and lesson it belongs to), or add a quiz directly from a lesson in your class content. Quizzes support multiple choice, checkbox, true/false, and short answer questions, images on questions and answers, plus an optional due date and time limit.
One. The start screen shows the time limit before the clock starts; once started, the timer keeps running even if you reload or leave the page. After submitting you see your score (and the correct answers, if your teacher turned that on). If an attempt needs a redo, the teacher deletes it on the Quizzes page and the student can start again.
Teachers create assignments on the Assignments page with a title, points, an optional due date, and an optional attachment. Students choose a PDF or image, check it, and submit before the due date — and can replace it until it has been graded. Teachers grade each submission with points and feedback.
Every class has its own discussion forum (Discussions in the sidebar) where the class chats and shares files. Inappropriate language is censored automatically. The teacher can lock the whole chat or revoke a specific student's ability to post.
Yes — the Messages page gives every student a private conversation with each of their teachers, and teachers can message any of their students. Private messages are strictly teacher-to-student; students cannot message each other.
